I've lived in the building for a few years now and things have almost completely turned around since FPI took over management! Things were crazy for a while and some of the tenants were ACTUALLY crazy. The building and grounds are actually cleaned and maintained regularly and any issues are responded to in a very timely fashion. Communication is...
also great! I wish there were more amenities but I understand the building was originally designed with commuters and efficiency in mind. I don't have a car so parking isn't an issue for me right now but I know management is trying to work with tenants on petitioning the city for rezoning the 2-hour parking limit on the streets around the building, which is super awesome! It's nice to have a management company that actually seems to care about its tenants and property.

I moved in here almost a month ago. A new management company FPI Management just took over and is really going out of their way to spruce up the place. The office and maintenance staff is helpful and friendly. They just hired a security company to patrol the grounds and help keep the place safe. They've upgraded the lobby. They're coordinating...
with the residents to contact the city and get the parking situation worked out. The units themselves are a good size and very affordable. The location is very central to Tacoma. Everything is close by. Within 2 miles you can find Costco, Safeway, University of Washington, Greyhound Bus Station, I-5, and Pacific Ave (Highway 7).

I want to give a special Thanksgiving Thank you to Cody B who was our Building Manager before transferring to Koz at the Dome recently. Cody was very responsive and always attentive to the Tenants needs. He sent out emails to all the tenants regarding updates, concerns and reminders which made all of us comfortable knowing that there was somebody...
we could always reach out to if there was an issue. Both Heaven and Cody are the 2 main reasons I have renewed twice and I just hope people realize how lucky they are to get a guy with solid integrity. I know this area has some challenges and my advice to current/future tenants is to make sure you don't allow strangers into the building without a key. It doesn't matter what kind of security you have if your the one compromising the safety of others. My prior complex before Koz had 24hr security and an underground garage but we constantly had break ins/missing packages because too many tenants didn't want to "offend" a stranger who would follow in from behind. Koz gives a great deal with Electric and Internet included, along with a clean and modern unit. I highly recommend Koz and Cody B! Good luck Cody!
